Pensions in payment are increased in April each year in line with the Europ Assistance pension plan Rules. Different increases apply to different parts of Europ Assistance Plan pensions, depending on when they were earned.

The increase to be applied in April 2024 will be as follows:

• Guaranteed Minimum Pensions built up before 6 April 1988 do not increase in payment.
• Guaranteed Minimum Pensions built up between 6 April 1988 and 5 April 1997 increase in line with the Consumer Prices Index capped at 3% each year. This year, this increase will be 3%.
• Pension, in excess of your Guaranteed Minimum Pension, built up to 5 April 1997 increases at 3% each year.
• Pension built up after 5 April 1997 increases in line with CPI subject to a maximum of 5% each year. This year, this increase will be 5%
